Frequently asked questions about Dragon Ball

Everything you need to know before buying or selling dragon ball on Blisterr.

  • Dragon Ball Super Card Game vs Fusion World: what is the difference?
The DBS Card Game (Bandai, 2017–2024) is the legacy format. Fusion World is the new 2024+ format, with its own rules and boosters. Both coexist: Fusion World is gaining ground with players, while DBS stays heavily collected.
  • SCR, SPR, GDR: how do I read Dragon Ball rarities?
SCR (Secret Rare) is the top rarity, fully holo. SPR (Special Rare) is a holo alt art. GDR (God Rare) is ultra-rare with a gold effect, printed in tiny numbers. The rarer the code, the higher the price climbs.
  • What are a Goku SSBlue Kaioken or a Vegeta Ultra Ego worth?
The most coveted variants run from £70 to £500 depending on condition (raw vs PSA 10) and set. SCRs and GDRs often clear £250. Check recent sales on Blisterr to calibrate your offer.
  • What are the Blisterr fees on the buyer side?
You pay the listed price + a buyer service fee + shipping. On the seller side, Blisterr charges 0% commission — they keep 100% of the sale price. The full fee breakdown is in the FAQ.
  • Should I buy raw or graded?
Raw to collect and handle. Graded (PSA/BGS/CGC) to preserve and resell. On rare SCRs/GDRs, grading is almost standard once value passes the £170 mark.

About Dragon Ball on Blisterr

The Dragon Ball market spans several distinct TCGs since the 1990s — the DBZ Trading Card Game by Score Entertainment (1999-2006, often called « the Power Levels » by veterans, after the power-level mechanic printed on each card), Dragon Ball Heroes (Bandai, Japanese market, since 2010), the Dragon Ball Super Card Game (DBSCG, Bandai, 2017-2024), and Fusion World launched in 2024. On Blisterr, all these generations live in one category.

Vintage Score (1999-2006) remains a high-demand segment for collectors nostalgic for the original DBZ broadcast. The Frieza, Cell, Buu and Fusion sagas are most sought-after, with Limited Foils as historical chase cards. Mind the grading: Score cards were printed on more fragile cardstock than modern standards; recent PSA grading secures items above €100.

The Dragon Ball Super Card Game (DBSCG) is the modern competitive pillar, organised by sagas (Tournament of Power, Universe 7 vs Universe 6, Granolah Saga). Chase cards are Special Rare (SPR) with premium alternate illustrations — Goku SS Blue, Vegeta God of Destruction, Beerus, Whis. God Rare and Secret Rare from recent sets top the secondary market.

Fusion World brings a fresh wind: simplified gameplay, massive distribution, renewed competitive support. Awakened Pulse and Blazing Aura chases attract a new generation of collectors.

Every Dragon Ball seller on Blisterr goes through Stripe Connect KYC, and the 30-day buyer protection covers occasional counterfeits — a marginal but real risk on highly demanded SPRs and the priciest vintage Score cards.
