How do I tell a real Yu-Gi-Oh! card from a fake?
The Konami hologram (the Eye of Anubis) on the back should be crisp, with no visible pixels. The font, the thickness and the surface texture are reliable tells. For Ghost Rares and Secret Rares the holo effect is complex, so a video shot in natural light helps a lot. -
What is a 1st Edition, and why is it worth more?
The "1st Edition" tag on LOB, MRD, PSV and others marks the earliest, limited print runs. A LOB-001 1st Edition Blue-Eyes White Dragon is worth 5 to 10× the Unlimited version. On Blisterr the 1st Ed filter lets you target these print runs directly. -

Are my Japanese or Asian cards tournament-legal?
In official TCG tournaments (UK/European), only cards printed in the region's language are allowed. Japanese or OCG cards are collectable but cannot be used in sanctioned duels. For most Blisterr collectors, that is purely an aesthetic plus.
